London the capital of Britain is a really large city and is truly cosmopolitan. There is a lot to see and do in the city of London.  One can spend an entire vacation in London thoroughly enjoying the varied sights but still they would not find enough time to see and experience what’s more London has to offer. In actuality, the list of attractions is just endless.

When people refer to London they usually mean London city along with London boroughs like Westminster, Bloomsbury, Wandsworth, etc. The various districts of London has different things to  offer to tourists for instance the Bloomsbury district in London is famous for writers, the British Museum, numerous parks, homes of people of high significance as well as the University of London.

The city of London i.e. the part of London that was once the walled city in ancient times is also the place of great financial importance in the world economy. You can find several global business organizations in the city. Now if you are looking for a dose of entertainment then Covent Garden is the place to be, watch live theatre and have fun shopping.

Covent Garden is extremely popular with tourists and is usually quite crowded with people from different parts of the world. The Covent Garden is characterized with a large number of buildings as well as narrow streets. The Covent Garden Market Piazza is a major draw for tourists. The Seven Dials, a seven-street intersection highlighted with a tall pillar consisting of seven dials is another major draw for visitors. Covent Garden is very conveniently located and one can easily walk to other popular London destinations like Bloomsbury, Trafalgar Square, Leicester Square and Soho from the Covent Garden.

The Leicester Square is another popular attraction among tourist and is often referred to as the West End and it includes Trafalgar Square, Piccadilly Circus and Chinatown. One can taste authentic Chinese in Chinatown and it is a nice place to dine. Most British cinemas premiere at the Leicester square and there are many cinema halls there but they are all frightfully expensive.

There are a large number of bars and nightclubs at Leicester Square. If interested in watching a theatre in Leicester Square, one can visit their official website to check the programme. The tickets can be quite expensive but one also has the option of purchasing a ticket from the half price ticket booth as well.

Soho is one of the most stylish districts in London if not the most happening place in London. Besides the usual means of transportation Soho can also be accessed by a rickshaw. Rickshaws can be found in Soho  and its adjoining areas; they are very expensive but definitely a lot of fun and can be quite an experience. There are a number of bars, cafes and shops in Soho and the best way to see them all is on foot.

The London Palladium and Prince Edward Theatre are also popular stops amongst visitors in London.  While at Soho, one can indulge in a lot of high end shopping from the many boutiques and high-end British brands.
