Dining
The Carlisle boasts three of the finest restaurants on the island; Indigo on the Beach for Caribbean cuisine and seafood, East for those evenings when a taste of Asia is desired and the newest one, Ottimol, that serves Italian inspired classics. Afternoon tea is served anywhere a guest desires between the hours of 4:00 and 5:30 pm. Nightlife is not left unattended at the Carlisle. There are three bars, a movie screening room and a variety of planned nightly activities.
Facilities
The Blue Spa offers a variety of men’s and women’s beauty treatments and wellness therapies. There are even some designed for couples. A fully equipped gym, saunas and plunge pools provide everything necessary for a stimulating and healthy workout. In addition, on most days there are yoga and Pilates classes as well as massage facilities available. Don’t miss the Juice Bar in the gym. It serves all the standards but also mixes some distinctly Caribbean “virgin” cocktails.
Activities
Obviously, much of the fun at the Carlisle is centred around the ocean. In addition to lounging on the private beach, guests can swim or snorkel in the protected cove. For the more adventurous there are diving trips to see the native underwater flora and fauna or sunken ships. On land, there is tennis, shopping in St Mary’s or a guided hike into the rainforest. There is even a children’s club to take care of the kids if you need some “alone” time.
