Chester is one of the prime cities in England. The city is situated on the bank of river Dee at the close proximity to the Wales border. The small place was accredited with city status in the year 1941. According to history, initially, Chester was established as a Roman Fort in the year 79. The city had four main roads; Bridge, Watergate, North Gate and East gate and astonishingly all these four streets still exist with their 2000 year old routes. Primarily it was a cantonment and after Roman Dynasty was over at 5th century around, the town was named after the name of St. Chester. Besides historical significance, the place is known for its cafes and great foods, good shops, ancient walls, and archaeological reminiscences; in one word, Chester is an eventful city with several colorful events and varied tourist attractions.
