Vasa Museum

The Vasa Museum exemplifies the mastery of ship-building art of the ancient Swedes. The museum is built around a huge warship that sank in Stockholm in the early 17th century. The warship was one of the largest war vessels when it began its maiden voyage. The tourists can walk around this well preserved ship to experience the life on a ship in the 17th century. They can even see some belt buckets, shoes and other items originally used by the crew members.

Nordic Museum

The Nordic Museum is home to the Swedish history and culture of over 500 years. Built in Danish Renaissance style, the museum is situated next to the Vasa Museum. The museum, spread out on four floors, features exhibit from Swedish fashions, folk costumes, table settings, and various other samples of Swedish culture and history.

Bergius Botanical Garden

Located on Brunnsviken in Stockholm, the tranquil Bergius Botanical Garden is a favorite spot of the locals and tourists to escape from the stresses of modern life. The House of Culture, locally known as Kulturhuest, is the cultural hub of Stockholm that hosts interesting events all year round. There are exhibition rooms, restaurants that allow a wonderful view of Sergels Torg, reading rooms, a library and the Municipal Theater (Stadsteatern) in the House.
