How Not to Miss a Single soccer Match in World Cup 2010

South-Africa-2010-World-CupThere are only a few months before we see the world suffering from some serious soccer fever as South Africa is going to host the 19th FIFA World Cup in 2010. The soccer lovers across the globe are now busy to manage match tickets and gather information about the country of Nelson Mandela. Here are several information that may prove helpful.  

The group league and knock-out matches of the 2010 soccer World Cup will be played at several South African cities. They are Cape Town, Durban, Johannesburg, Mangaung (Bloemfontein), Nelson Mandela Bay (Port Elizabeth), Nelspruit, Polokwane, Rustenburg and Tshwane (Pretoria). The details list of matches and venues can be found in the official FIFA website. The tourists first need to ensure confirmed legal tickets of their favorite matches. Ticket sales for the 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa will commence on 20 February 2009 and terminate on 11 July 2010. There are two types of ticket products available for 2010:

a) Match Tickets: Individual match tickets available for all matches.

b) Team Specific Ticket Series (TSTs): Ticket strips to follow the national team of your choice.

The period from 20 February 2009 to 7 April 2010 ticket applications are processed either subject to a random selection draw process or on a first-come-first served basis subject to availability. The 5th and final Ticket Sales Phase will take place from 15 April to 11 July 2010. In order to apply online you first need to register in the FIFA.com Club (free registration). Activation of your membership is not required in order to apply for tickets.
