How to enjoy St Lucia on a limited budget

St. Lucia is one of the island nation countries in the Caribbean. Located on the boundary with the Atlantic Ocean it is a part of the Lesser Antilles. French and British rules changed over the island during the history. A definitive British rule was established in 1814.

As most of the island countries in the Caribbean, St. Lucia is a well-known tourist location. It is a perfect location for romance and adventure. Be amazed by untouched landscapes on every corner and experience a trip of a lifetime.

St. Lucia offers tourists a variety of entertainment and content which can be suited for everyone’s pocket. From luxurious hotels and expensive restaurants to personal sightseeing destinations and little romantic dinner places, St. Lucia has it all. You do not have to spend a lot of money in order to have a wonderful and fulfilling vacation. Here are some things that you can do on a limited budget, and not feel as though you missed out on anything.

Visit the carnivals

There are many carnivals which are held in St. Lucia. If you plan your holiday you are sure to have a good time just walking about on the street during the festivities. Saint Lucia Jazz, Jounen Kweyol Festival and The Atlantic Rally for cruises are just some of the spectacles which are held here and during which there is many attractive content all around the island.

Windsurfing

If you are a passionate windsurfer or just an amateur, St. Lucia has the perfect climate and the environment for your pleasure. Spend your days battling with amazing waves which can be found alongside beautiful beaches.

Family fun

Have some fun on your family vacation which will be remembered by the whole family. Don’t just go on another same vacation routine. Play hide and seek in hideouts of real pirates, or go on a hike through a live volcano. If arranged with a local company it is sure to be memorable but not costly.

Hiking

St. Lucia has many wonderful places just waiting for you. Hike through the rainforest and absorb the tropical haze and the environment around you. The memorable Pitons will definitely leave an impression rising from the ocean to the sky.

Get around

Getting around can be pretty expensive if arranged by a tourist company. But if you go out on your own, you can get cheap rides in many of the local mini busses which operate all around the island. They do not have a timetable but you are sure to run into them. Also, they can vary in quality but they are quite fun to experience. Be sure to arrange a price before the start of your trip, so that you may avoid problems at the end of your journey.
