Okara is famous for its peaceful natural environment, fertile land, and green fields of wheat, rice, maize, potato, sugarcane crops. The adjoining major cities of Okara is Sheikhupura , Sahiwal, Faislabad, Kasur, Bahwalnagar and Pakpattan. toys made by local women. Dolls made in this village put on display, in the International doll Museum Amsterdam, and in the theme park of Germany.
Renala Khurd: It is a famous town in Okara, famous for its fruit products companies Mitchell’s and its farms. One may visit still functional Hydroelectric Station installed in ancient times.
Tomb of Sufi Manzoor Ahmed Sabri: Shrine of this sufi is the honor of the Okara city, situated in Muhalla Ghaziabad. It is the beautiful example of art and skillfulness, flourished with white marble and shiny stones.
Gole Chowk: It is one of the busiest shopping centers of Okara, located in the heart of the city. In this locality, the famous and gorgeous Jamia Mosque is the major tourist attraction, and is one of its kinds in the world, which is round in its shape.
Akhtar Abad: Located on Grand Trunk Road, this town is famous for its Sugar market all over Pakistan. Akhtar Abad export sugar to all regions of country, as well as foreign countries. It is also famous for some worthy archaeological sites.
