Paris, the City of Light and Romance

Paris, the capital of France, is known as the city of romance, lights, art and history. The city famous for The Eifel Tower, the Louvre, Notre Dame and more is a one of the most beautiful places on planet earth. Since the early days, the city has been the most favorite haunt of poets and artists across the globe. Each year, thousands of tourists visit Paris to experience the charming streets, avenues and squares; the historical monuments and museums; the tasty cuisine or the venues of several great historic events that changed the course of human civilization forever. One thing is for sure, once you visit Paris, you are sure to fall in love with this beautiful city.

 If you are visiting Paris for the first time, experiencing “Paris is springtime” would perhaps be an obvious choice. But always consider your budget and centers of interest before you plan a trip. Normally, tourists prefer to visit Paris in April, but fall is also a good time to consider; particularly if you don’t want to dig your pocket dipper.

One of the most attractive places to visit in Paris is The Louvre. It is undoubtedly one of the largest and most famous museums in the world. This 800 year old building is full of priceless works of art. The highlight is course a visit to see the Mona Lisa painting by Leonardo da Vinci. The Eifel Tower, on the other hand, allows an impressive view of the city.  There are two stages that tourists can walk up to and at each stage they can take some rest with a cup of coffee – they provide quality cappuccino! The cathedral of Notre Dame, a Gothic masterpiece completed in 1250 is situated at the heart of the city. Entry is free here.  Tourists should also take a trip to Arc De Triomphe, Pompidou Centre, Sacre Coeur Orsay Museum any many world famous spots in the city or the area nearby. The locales rightly say, you leave Paris only to come back again and again.
