Placed at an elevation of 56 ft, the city of Shahpur Chakkar is an eminent city of Sindh province, Pakistan. This city is named after Mir Chakkar Khan Talpur. This city is situated between the Sanghar and Nawabshah, 30 km away from each city. With a population of about 0.1 million, in Shahpur Chakkar over 100 communities living in the city and in adjacent small villages. The economy of Shahpur Chakkar completely depends on agriculture, and the main products are wheat, mango, banana and cotton. This city has major railway and road links with all the prominent cities, like Hyderabad, Shahdadpur, Sanghar Tando Adam and Nawabshah. Shahpur Chakkar has two higher secondary schools and many private schools, and construction of a big degree college is in progress. Mir Shahdad Jo Qubo: It is a tomb of Mir Shahdad Talpur, who is regarded as one of the famous personality of Sindh. It is also a monument of historical importance, containing the graveyards of the 12^th century military commanders and their family members. These graveyards belonged to Kalhora period in Sindh. The outer wall of the graveyard totally filled with old stones, and represents the style of ancient architect.

Darya Khan Rind Academy: It is one of the largest and famous academies in Shahpur Chakkar, named after a famous Sindhi poet, and also a leader of his tribe the “Rind”. This academy established by his son Haqeer Rind, who is the famous social worker of the city.

Barhaman Abad: It is the ruins of an old city, placed near Shahpur Chakkar , dated back to 7^th century. This region excavated by Pakistani Government, and they found a large number of old coin, artifacts, ancient jewelers, and other historical objects. All these things kept in the museum of Sindh, and visited by hundreds of tourists frequently.

Shopping Market of Shahpur Chakar: It is one of the most eminent shopping places of the city, and the prevalent in the region. A huge number of tourists come to visit this place to purchase diverse local goods, as tremendously designed ceramic, dyed clothes and several other exceptional objects. A big fruit and vegetable market also placed in this region, and people from close areas commonly purchased different domestic things here. This place remains full of activity all the day.
