The Versailles castle with its palace and the gardens are one of the most impressive of the world’s heritage sites and symbolizes the most proficient attainments of 17th century French skills. It is more expansive than the usual ticket, but includes various tours of the King and Queen’s State Apartments, the Chapel and Opera House, the Coach Museum, all the temporary exhibitions, and also returns railway and metro tickets etc. However, you can get the Palace easily by train and buy tickets for each attraction once there. This is the best way if you want to see something in particular or just want to explore the enormous gardens. Bikes and battery powered golf carts also available on hire, inside the museum.
